Am wondering how I can make LCPDFR work with Icenhancer 2.1 Final Build, and I already tried installing LCPDFR and the game just crashes. PS: If you know just tell me about it, I don't want to hear a smartass saying ''LCPDFR doesn't work with Icenhancer dumbass''

As soon I installed LCPDFR, when I try opening up the game it automatically crashes. So are u using xliveless or did u take dsound file out of the folder?

Slasher download and run the media tool from the download section, run it and see if it tells you anything when running it.

Sounds to me like an issue with your GTA IV files if LCPDFR isn't working.

I just found my problem is the dsound file when ever I remove the file the game doesn't crash but when I put it back in the game crashes again can someone lead me your dsound file if it works for me.....

Try using Xlive instead, P.S. if you're using ELS cars I don't recommend that ENB as it makes ELS really dull and boring. However I am sure you can edit the visual settings and pump up the bloom and such.

try running your game as administrator with the dsound file included

@theninja35: Really it works on every patch. I have EFLC & it goes great :biggrin:

2.1 works with both 1.0.4.0 and 1.0.7.0, try taking out the time sync as they seem to always screw it up when they release it. Haven't use 2.1 yet and don't plan on it, for the guy that said icehancer dosn't work with ELS. Your wrong as you can change the settings in the Iceconfig file to look awesome with ELS. All you need to do is download a ENB that looks good with ELS. ( ENB no config with LCPDFR) and rename the ENBseries.ini file to the iceconfig.ini They are the same thing just a different name =)

re install gta iv make sure you have patch 1.0.7.0 then download the setup lcpdfr setup then run the setup as administrator then chose xliveless if you don't care about online i chose xliveless for safety. then download and install icenhancer in the right way after all that run gta iv as administrator i hope i helped you peace and love! :biggrin:

Forget what I said icenchancer looks horrible with the 1.0.7.0 patch...

I get an error saying that d3dx9_45.dll is missing, click ok a few times and it goes away and runs just fine. I have GTA IV(base game) with the latest patch, 1.0.7.0 and it runs fine, well apart from the lagginess from poor pc performance. But ICenhancer works with GTA IV. 2.1 even comes with all the files that you need in order for it to run with the latest patch.

EDIT: I think I'm using dsound. Which ever .asi loader comes stock with LCPDFR is what I'm using. I don't seem to have any problems with it.

Can someone upload a pic of lcpdfr (gta iv 1.0.7.0) with icehancer 2.1?

I've heard certain features of icehancer don't work on the game version 1.0.7.0.

but you can't install the latest lcpdfr on 1.0.4.0 :-p

i would really like to know if anyone got those two to work together :-)

The only thing that doesn't work for me is that I get the red sky at certain distances away from me. No big deal for me, I don't really care how the sky looks, but there is a fix in the ICenhancer 2.1 .zip file with instructions on how to fix it. Other than that I don't know of anything else that does or doesn't work.
