What pre built gaming pc should i get to run lspdfr?

Featured Replies

So I’ve been looking for a pre build gaming pc under 1200$ that i can play lspdfr with. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Also I would love a laptop that would be better, can I play lspdfr on a laptop?

Anything at $1000 can run LSPDFR just fine man, you shouldn't have any problems lol. Even laptops.

For starters, you can have a look at

https://www.ibuypower.com/

or

https://www.cyberpowerpc.com

If you invest in a laptop, just remember that once it's outdated, it outdated. Desktops you can upgrade with the newest cards, Processors, etc.

MB: MSI Z270-A PRO

CPU: Intel Core i7 7700k @ 4.20 GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 TI STRIX OC

RAM: 24GB DDR4

Thank you so much. I’m looking at the acre predator helios 300, is it worth the money? Also will it run other mods too like lspdfr+ and different scripts and stuff

The Helios 300 with the 7700HQ and GTX 1060 should run the game quite well, especially for a laptop, and quite frankly I'm surprised at how cheap it is on Amazon. There is no doubt that you could build your own desktop PC for the same price and receive a decent performance increase, but if you really think you want a laptop then it's actually quite a nice laptop. For comparison, laptops tend to run just a little bit slower than desktop counterparts, so take a look at performance with a GTX 1060 and then take away about 5FPS. That should be a good estimate of the performance you'll be getting.

There are some complications with laptops that you should know before making the purchase, though. First of all, the battery drains like I eat chocolate. You WILL NOT be able to complete a full gaming session of GTA V before the battery runs out. That means you'll probably be able to make it an hour before you need to plug back in. The Helios 300 on Amazon claims that it has a 7-hour battery life, but that's on idle or low load. And along with battery problems come heat problems. PC components can reach boiling point when running at full load, and that's even more true for laptops. Because of the lack of cooling, the components are going to get hot far quicker than a desktop with fans or even watercooling might get. Keep that in mind if you were thinking about placing the laptop on your lap while using it. There are cooling pads that have integrated fans, but those are loud, heavy, and obnoxious.  While the display is apparently a nice IPS panel, it's smaller than you could get on a desktop. The keyboard may also be more difficult to use, but you can always plug in an external keyboard and mouse.

Are you planning on purchasing the laptop specifically for GTA V or are you interested in other games or programs as well?

i would probably play rainbow six siege too but mainly lspdfr, I just want to run lspdfr with a decent amount of mods and have it run well, thanks for replying

But also the predator Helios 300 will run it perfectly fine right? Just making sure

WhisperPGG, do you have multiple mods too or just lspdfr and rage hook

Finally what is a good price point, I’m willing to spend up to 1200$ for the pc but if I don’t have to I definitely wont. Would 800$ do?

Yeah I run about 8 to 12 mods no problem. My 4k monitor was sub 200 on Amazon.

I run a 1050ti video card, i5 processor n 16gb ram. I only have a 1tb 7200rpm hard drive n gonna upgrade to a 4tb. Just found a 4tb 7200rpm drive for $89.

U should easily be able to do that for under 800 with monitor

Hi I am looking to play LSPDFR, does anyone have a PC they recommend for around $1,000 or less? If I have to go over $1,000 that’s fine just would hope to keep it at or under that.
