Uploading Attachments to File Uploads

Featured Replies

So just curious as to why this is. When I upload my custom description design (image) as an attachment to my file download, it's roughly 4500x7000 pixels.

When I put it in the description box it shrinks it down to 483xSomething else. When I try to make it larger than 483 pixels wide, it says 483 is the minimum.

So when my description looks like this:

And then I see others who use a similar method to this with theirs much larger:

I find myself confused as to how they did it. Any method to make mine larger so it's a bit more readable?  Any response is helpful.

It looks like the others are uploading to Imgur and posting the link. Have you tried that?

It won't embed. Kinda like if you link another LSPDFR post it will change from the link to the preview, this from Imgur, and pasteboard won't embed. Kinda weird.

Odd, are you sure you copied the direct link to the image? I'm able to embed an imgur link just fine.

Yes. I'm not sure why it won't embed. Exact copy, and the privacy is set to public on imgur

It's probably the resolution; I'm not sure what's ideal but 4500x7000 is huge.

Looks like t0y used 1000x1593.

Yeah I made it so big to test if it would make it bigger in the description

Still shrinks it after making it 1000x1593
