Hey guys,

 

So like so many of you, I've been having issues with Computer Plus crashing my LSPDFR session.  I've tried various suggestions that I've read in the forum, but it still seems to happen.  I did find that if I reduced the number of plugins I'm throwing at the system, I can get a bit more gameplay out of it before the crash, but it still seems that it happens most often when I'm accessing a ped or a plate through the computer.

 

In case some of you haven't seen this plugin, as an alternative, I use a plugin called the San Andreas Record Data Access System (SARDAS).  It hasn't been updated in some time, but it allows you to search plates and peds to get records.  I have had way fewer crashes using this system although, a draw back is that it doesn't link to the court system, and it's external to the game so you have to switch between windows.  For me, I have a second monitor so I just keep it all there and access it that way.

 

Additionally, I use the offline version of PaperWork plus to add some roleplay realism to my patrols.  As I understand there is/was a new version of paperwork plus in the works, but I'm not sure if that project is still on its way or not.

 

Anyway, I know the frustration of having your game crash so often, and with these options, I have found that I can play for a solid 1-2 hours on average without any issues.  If you guys have any other suggestions/alternatives, please let me know.  I love the computer plus plugin, but right now, at least for me, I can't enjoy LSPDFR much at all if I acces it.
