I have found out that if anyone has traffic flow online and i am running lcpdfr I get the texture bug, but i want to play online lcpdfr! please help. thanks in advance.

What are your specs?

If your "map" is disappearing and stuff, it means your system can't handle all the mods and such too good. Try lowering your graphical settings, I can't guarantee it'll work, but it might.

Sometimes getting rid of the mods is also the only option, unless you will upgrade your PC.

AMD phenom II x4 955 3.2 ghz

8gb ram: 3.5 usable

Nvidia gtx 520 1gb graphics card

All em vechicles replaced except for police stockade

please define..."the texture bug" i have about 40 cases of 40 different texture bugs over the 2 years i have been playing this

roads,builings, and everything else will appear invisible

there are a number of hings..the main one being, GTA leaks memory like a bucket with a hole in it

this is another problem i have as well. i out drive the loading areas and everything with go transparent.

Damn, if you've replaced every car except for Stockade, you might be getting that a lot for sure. Car mods.

i only have the emergency services on car mods (ambulance, fireruck, pol, pol2, polpat, noose, nstock, pstock, fbi)

well if i kept my police car mods and got rid of the ambulance, firetruck,and noose stockade mods would i be able to decrease the chances of the texrure bug?

when i say em vechicles it means emergency

Right. Well, there's a chance your problem will still be there or it'll be fixed. High poly car mods tend to cause it to happen.

Is my computer good enough anyway? im pretty sure it is but is it my RAM? and where can i find lower poly mods mabey to replace the ambulance and fire truck with something smaller?

GTA IV will leak memory even if your specs aren't that good, usually caused by car mods or any large mods. But sure, specs might affect it a bit. For lower poly car mods, you might want to check out GTAPolicemods or sites like that. There are plenty if you just google and look around.

Derp. Well, I'm not the best to explain this but I guess it's very basicly like, high quality, obviously better looking cars are high poly and the default, more closer to IV's car style or lower are usually low poly.

Your graphics card might not be able to support the high quality car models you have in your game. You can try something, but don't be going crazy bumping up your games graphics.

Create a text document with Notepad and call it commandline.txt.

Insert the following into it:

-availablevidmem 2.0

-percentvidmem "100"

-novblank

-norestrictions

-noprecache

Save, and place it into GTA4's directory. If you're still downgrading, you can try bumping up availablevidmem to like 5.0. But if it still downgrades and your map continues to go away, you might have to resort to removing the vehicles and staying with the default ones.
