Game keeps crashing

Featured Replies

Hi I've been having quite a bit of trouble with the game crashing. I read that the game has a tendency to crash if you 'force callout'. What's the percentage of this happening? I use force callout all the time, due to the variety of normal calls being between domestics, shootouts, shots fired, and I think one more or something. I really love getting into car chases and it just never gives that for a random callout or a worldwide event and they just never pop up when you play, so if you want them, you have to Force it.

If I do force it, it would be about 20 min if not more or less, the game would crash. I'm not sure if it would crash if I don't force it, which I normally do because of the reasons I give, but how do I stop these crashes from happening? I'm really enjoying this mod but I can't stand the game crashing. I'm going to play it now without using a force callout and see if it will crash. But my question still stands.

Here are my computer specs if you want them.

Are you using car mods? If so that is

usually the reason why the game crashes. If you play it vanilla it should be fine. Download the diagnostic tool thingy and post the result here, The magicians behind the mod will see if there is a problem with it.

Do you not play with car mods?

Yes we do, but we are often careful of which slots are modded and which use ELS to minimise crashing.

Well I just played for over an hour straight until it crashed so I think the main thing was the forcing of callouts. But I think you guys are right it might be the vehicle mods that are making it crash too, How am I supposed to know what vehicles might possibly crash the game?

Try reinstalling LCPDFR. But yes the car mods usually cause crashes due to highpoly count. It makes a memory leak or something (Or so i`ve heard)
