I've currently created a CVPI with a whelen liberty and a rambar. I then found the Quadraflare's at GPM and wanted to attatch some to my rambar.

The problem is that in-game they aren't recognised by ELS and stay on permanently. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Are they named correctly in zmodeler? Extra_1 2 3 etc? Another thing - make sure the light housing itself is attached to the pushbar but the ELS texture has to be attached to the other ELS lights.

I'm a little confused as to how to go about doing this. The Extra_1 is just a dummy and the misc_c is the housing. Is that supposed to be like that?

yea, the quadraflare.wft is just a folder, you should be able to pull out the misc_c, which is the housing and extra_1, which is the ELS light and erase the "qyadraflare.wft" Then pull out the extra_1 so it isnt under the misc_c anymore and put misc_c in the "pushbar" folder and attach it to the pushbar after you have it placed where you want it. The extra_1 goes in the folder of whatever ELS light you want it to flash with and then gets attached to those lights. I hope you can understand that and its not to confusing. Let me know if it is...

So where do I place the quadraflare now? I obviously can't keep it named extra_1 since I already have one.......

Thanks man, I appreciate it, however, i've done what you said, but when I go to export the model I get this error:

Error collecting export data. file:GTAIVExport.cpp line:94

Duplicate instances of part "extra_1" found. file:GTAIVExport.cpp line:369

You might have accidentally created a copy of the extra_1. Check if you did.

Though if you have two kinds of ELS on your vehicle, for instance: A lightbar imported and rambar with lights imported you're gonna have to attach the extra_1's together. They must become one object, sharing.

Yeah I got a whelen liberty and a QuadraFlare. The problem is that I can't attatch the two together because the extra_1 on the Quadra is a dummy.
