Agreed. It would be cool though if we could see old Vapids and new Vapids. The new ones having LED's, and the older Vapids with Halogen/rotators. I also hope they have steady burns. R* followed the

FIRST!

The graphics look magnificent, the map looks way more than great, can not describe it.

Seeing left below the helicopter there's a bridge, that might go to the small near island?

About the video, fake I've been told.

You guys not read?

Rockstar said that video was fake. Hence why its there, someone posted the link in the question.

As for the graphics / textures, Its clear to me that they still have a way to go until they are perfect. Examples:

  • The LSPD helictoper
  • The guy in the second image
  • The house in the second image

Hey Harper, haven't seen you in a while since AT in SA-MP :)

Finally!!! Holy crap, awesome so far, but yeah, seeing the 2nd picture, still needs some work.

That I guess is the Los Santos equivalent of L.A Vincent Thomas bridge, that crosses the Los Angeles harbour, I don't remember how was called in SA, you can see in the trailer:

I suspect they pushed the console hardware pretty hard the first time with GTA4, and as such, texture memorys pretty limited on consoles, so i wouldnt expect much improvement texture wise from vanilla GTA4/EFLC

Even so, those textures are extremely less quality than IV's. Either that or the draw distance is terrible.

At last, the drought is over! I had a feeling news would be released today, and like lightning from a cloudless sky, it was!

The LSPD helicopter looks like a Bell Jet Ranger/MD 500, whereas the LCPD one in GTA IV looked like a Bell 212.

Looks like we got the Los Santos version of the U.S. Bank Tower, as usual. The city stretches as far as the eye can see, that's good.

Maybe it's because I'm playing too much L.A. Noire, but I'm getting an L.A. Noire vibe from that second screenshot.

Please, have more feelings like that near soon! Today, where I live, after some days raining the sun appeared, it's everything connected=P

Nope, the GTA IV chopper was based in a JetRanger, while the LSPD is based in the actual LAPD helicopter the Eurocopter AS350B2;)

It's incredible the distance effect when you're at the street level, gives you the feeling of being there, in a enormous city, but I hope the city be even bigger:P

This is really promising for police vehicles in general.

In the trailer we saw GTA IV style Ambulance, Police Car and Police Helicopter.

Now with this first picture, though the texture isnt high quality yet (Probably still in a lot of development with the range of cars) its really great to see a LAPD Bell Ranger as it sets a standard for other police vehicles. When we see new screens and a new trailer, I expect to see some proper modern vehicles coming to light.
