Title pretty much sums it up. I have my police5-thru-whatever setup, and I can spawn them via the RAGE console, but I'm curious if I can add them to the LSPDFR car selection menu or at least make it so the AI can use them, just so the world is more alive and interesting.

You cannot add them to the car selection menu, and the only way to get AI to use them is by adding the cars as back up units in the backup.xml.

Oh, perfect. I had no idea, thanks for explaining. Are there any guides that state or show how to go about doing that?

Go to GTA 5/LSPDFR/, open up the file "Backup.xml". Find the type of backup and the area you are looking for. Add vehicles based on that.

Lol, thanks for the quick responses guys! 😂😁

oh also if you edit the popgroups.ymt file and add your addon cars to the emergency vehicles section, ai cops will spawn driving them. 🙂

How would I go about doing that?

get a non-encrypted popgroups.ymt (it lives in mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5, but you'll have to get a decrypted one from online) and dig through it for the emergency vehicles category, then just add your cars model names. once you're editing the file it becomes much more self-explanatory
