Is it possible to rename a vehicle that is normally 'police3' to 'police4'?

I've been looking everywhere, and saw a guide linked but it didn't really answer my question. I linked the models here. I want to make the Explorer interceptor Police4 instead of Police3, but this one has a vehicles.meta file, and everytime I just replace the first 3 lines from Police3 to Police4 my game crashes when it loads. What's going on? I renamed all the texture dictionary files and stuff that comes with the mod to POLICE4 or police4 respectively, how they appeared as police3 before.

Vehicles.meta isn't a required file for most vehicles, just rename the ytd files for Police3 to Police4 and you should be set. You may need to use a trainer to remove window tint from the vehicle but otherwise you should be fine.

See, thats what I thought, I'll see right now how it works, but for some reason the explorer is the only model that has a folder inside called USE ME with the vehicles.meta file, the rest of them don't have this. I'll see if it makes a difference.
