A couple hours ago, the United States, along with France and the United Kingdom, have launched airstrikes over different locations near the Syrian capital, Damas, allegedly targeting facilities and storages for chemical weapons after the discovery of a chemical attack in a Syrian town. Russia, faithful ally of the Al Assad, current Syrian president, has already declared that this attack won't be without consequences.
To be noted that these airstrikes have been performed without the congress/parliament authorization of any of the three involved countries, without UN approval or mandate, a day before investigators of the OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) arrived to Syria to investigate the situation, disregarding people's disapproval concerning this decision and without any concrete proof chemical agents were used (and now most likely destroyed by the airstrikes if they were actually real).
