Stop Controller Reconnecting to P2

Featured Replies

Whenever I accidentally disconnect my controller and then reconnect it while a game is running, my PC assumes that the controller is still in and sets the controller to P2 after I reconnect. This is especially annoying when playing games like GTA, especially with LSPDFR and the like installed. Is there any way to get to go back to P1 without exiting the game?

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

I had something similar happen a while back where I'd plug in my controller, and it'd flash player 2.  No idea why, or what it saw as "player 1", but the only way I fixed it was to restart the game or my computer.  Tried Googling and didn't find anything at the time.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

I have this issue because my controller wire is slightly broken although it seems to be happening in the same manner to other people I know. If your controller is wired and the wire is what is disconnecting it wiggling the wire usually disconnects and puts it back onto P1.

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.
