WigWag's? (EMS Flashing Lights)

Featured Replies

I have been searching FOREVER  on YouTube for vehicles that have wigwag's that acutally flash because i had seen them before... & I finally found a video of it  but its in the Paramedic Mod style and its called "EMS Flashing Lights" ..... I could have SWORN I saw it on a police car too...

ANYWAYS: Here is the link & if anyone knows how to enable that on the police cars, I would LOVE to know how!:

Try the Strobes Mod in DL section. You can also try out this: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=502278

Question; From that link I would assume it automatically throws a blue dash light into ANY car correct? If so, this isn't very realistic... I am going to try out the Strobes Mod from the DL Section... Will edit soon with what I think about it!

And just to let you know the mod from the video is the paramedic mod by Team-NeO, the police version is police pursuit mod (PPM). Link: http://www.policemod.com/

I also recommend the strobe mod, just wish we could get something for AI also

@ Ridgerunner: Wouldn't having LCPDFR AND Police Pursuit Mod crash the game almost instantly? (besides the crashes I have already  )

@ JIverson: I like the Strobes Mod, although I dislike that both headlights (2 of them) as well as the taillights flash together, I would really like if there would be a lighting option in the ELS lighting menu for the strobes

There are a few WIP's with lighting so be patient and we'll proably have a more advanced/refined alternative. I would not run PPM and LCPDFR together. Not sure the details of your crashes, but ELS is prone to causing a lot of crashes generated.

Well usually the maps disappear, they used to disappear after a good 10 minutes or so, now they disappear within 5 minutes & then most vehicles (ELS or non ELS such as civilian cars) WILL NOT spawn.

The wig-wags are apart of the Paramedic mod itself, if you want them, you need to download the mod.

:wallbash: I have the Strobes Mod, but as I had posted earlier up, I would like to see an option to change the Flash Pattern included in the ELS Lighting Option Menu. (Maybe in ELS V7? if someone makes it.... :ermm: )

The author of ELS stopped doing GTA IV quite awhile ago, rumor has it that he will be back for V but that doesn't help us now. Illumination 2.0 is being worked on by Sam and some of the other LCPDFR dev's and if done correctly will fix a lot of the issues we experience with ELS. Thread here:

FYI, wig-wag is most often used to refer to alternately flashing high beams (think the effect ELS has on headlights). Strobing is different.
