Smith & Wesson M&P

Featured Replies

I've looked all over the place and cannot find a Smith & Wesson M&P handgun. A lot of law enforcement use the full size M&Ps in 9mm, .40 cal, and .45 cal. I would love to see one of these made up for GTAV. And if it isn't too much trouble the M&P Shields are essentially the same weapon just smaller with less rounds in the magazine. Thanks to anyone who could take the time to look into these.

Most law enforcement don't use these handguns, they still use Glocks. Granted, some major agencies did switch to them. In general, several have switched to them and still currently use them. Others have switched then switched back to Glock. However, Glock is still dominating the law enforcement market.

Well when they were announced in 2008 some 200 departments switched to them and quite a few more have ordered them or had them as options since then. I just want something different that's not just another Glock. I'm personally not a fan of Glocks, and as I own and carry both a full size M&P .40 and Shield .40 I think it would be cool to have them in GTA as well.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't been in V yet. Someone converted a M&P Pro from Battlefield Hardline to IV, so I find it weird no ones converted it over to V.

Well I hope someone sees this who knows how to convert it. A Pro would probably be too pricey for departments but I would love to see it nonetheless.

They're quite popular down here in FL. A lot of LEO and armed security agencies use them, it seems like most of the time it is the .9MM version. I'd prefer a .40 :p

@Outlaw 13 There is a thread for LEO handguns and the author may or may not be converting an M&P9, not sure if you've seen that or not.

New South Wales here in Aus is still running the Gen 4 Glock 17, whereas Victoria (my state) has used the M&P .40 since 2009
