Hi, just to start I’m playing basically only with my controller and els and controller don’t really go hand in hand, recently I’ve seen a lot of new models out there but all ELS. It would be nice to have non els version like bugs123 have almost a non els version for all is cars. I know I never touch car modding and have no clue how difficult it is and do appreciate all the car modders out there. It would be nice if all the new model comes with a nice ELS style (non els) design pattern I just hate driving with the keyboard. I use mostly bugs123 cars coz I like them really much.

Not to be rude, but I don't know what the problem is.  I use ELS and driving is perfect.  What exactly is your complaint with it?

 

ELS is in right now, and probably always will be.  I'm sure some people will make non ELS cars, but it'll be rare and not to the same extent as ELS models.  If you check the vehicle downloads, there are a lot of non ELS cars, just use the filter.

Is it really easier to control non-els with a controller than els? Seems like it's easier with els because you can control the light and sirens separately unlike non-els where you just push one button to activate both.

I find it easier with ELS.  ELS will cancel out other buttons it utilizes.  So when you normally press "B" you get the cinematic camera.  With ELS, this changes siren tones/is manual siren and eliminates the cinematic camera.

ELS makes it very easy to control. I've never used non-els control, I find it annoying to have the lights and sirens turned on with one button.

Well I'm not that experience with lspdfr, maybe someone can help me get that setup....I would love to run it on my controller siren and els but it was conflicting with other button like smart radio etc..I would appreciate some help with that. I really want to download those els cars trust me, if someone can show me how to set it up...siren mastery and els all together....man that would be awesome. My post wasen't a rant or anything like that....just kinda wondering why there was no more non els cars. I only been on this for about 2 months now, manage to have my game pretty much running on my controller. So I just thought this was the easier was with non els.

There's no set up needed.  Just install ELS and it'll work as intended and like I described. :)  There's really no need for SM and ELS together, they basically do the exact same thing.

 

Free my controller was meant to make things easier on people by removing stupid keybinds like the cinematic camera, cell phone, etc.  ELS does this while in a vehicle, but not outside of it.  As it stands currently, there is no way to use ELS and free my controller at the same time.

I'm using "free my controller" with ELS no problem. Also if you want you can change the keybinding of police smart radio in the ini file to avoid key conflict.

Can you remove the phone on DPad up to start or other option from free me remove unnecessary controller button mod? I saw a post with someone saying he was using setup #2from that mod and he could run els everything on is controller  

You can remove buttons but not remap them. For example, I only use it to remove the phone from the DPad button.

Been working really hard to try to map els and other mods, here it's what I came up with, if you download setup#2 from free me ( remove unnecessary button mod, you can have els working perfect removing the phone up....and I use up, down, left and right on keyboard for police smart radio and it works perfectly....thank god i can use els now. Downloaded the RCMP mega pack right away🤗🤗🤗. Awesome thanks fir the help guys..

Silent eagle could you tell me what free my controller setup you are using, like I said I’m using #2 free me(remove unnecessary button, what are you using, i try a lot of them and the only I really had success with was setup #2 the other setup seem to conflit with els siren.... pls let me know I’m trying to get rid of that light melee attack on foot.

I'm using the remove phone only option because this the only button that was bothering me.
