Traffic Policer Mimic not working

Featured Replies

When I mimic people on a traffic stop, I press the keys, my siren blips and the officer points out the window, the notification appears (the <vehicle> is now mimicking you) but when I move my patrol car, the stopped vehicle doesn't move with me. I've tried moving to a spot and then telling them to stop mimicking, but all that happens is the notification for mimic end (the <vehicle> is no longer mimicking you) shows and the car doesn't move an inch.

Any ideas? I have Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager installed, among other mods.

Where have you tried moving the vehicle to?  You have to remain right behind the vehicle, and you can't reverse, only move forward.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

I've tried moving them to the forward right, typically, but I've tried all things; they simply don't move at all, no matter which direction I go. If I move my car over, their car stays where it is, and if I nudge my car forward towards theirs, it only results in my pushbar tapping their bumper. It never triggers the driver of the stopped vehicle to move his car.

I did not know that. I'm on the latest version, .61, but after I posted that, I went and tried it again: it works, but it's awfully buggy and I have to be mere inches from the bumper of the suspect vehicle for them to move, and then it seems there's a 50/50 of either moving where I ask them to or just driving into the friggin woods.

The exact same thing is happening for me.  Did you ever figure out a fix for this? Thanks

Unfortunately not, I ended up upgrading my PC and having nicer hardware made this and a lot of other problems (mainly having to play at 800x600) go away. Sorry man
