So what do i do once im inside the handling.dat

Find the line and replace it.

Open notepad and paste handling.dat file in it. After that, replace handling line you wish. After that save it (make sure you uncheck read only feature in file properties).

So i see a bunch of numbers do i copy and paste or what

You find the line for the slot which you replaced the vehicle in for example polpat for the polpatriot. In the readme copy and paste the line which looks something like this:

POLPAT 0.5 0.02 05 5 43 95 6232 96565 32215

Then go to the handling.dat and scroll to the vehicle slot which you replaced. Copy and paste the line found in the readme and replace the default line found in the handling.dat file.

One more Question It says that its read only and cannot replace the old one how do i fix this

Save it to the desktop, and then drag the file back into the folder.

you can always avoid errors like that if you unlock your folder and uncheck read-only on the fire properties
