When I try calling backup, nothing happens. Also, when I use the panic button LSPDFR crashes. I tested and all the addon cars spawn in just fine. I'll attach my backup.xml, any help would be appreciated. I'm assuming I made a mistake somewhere when editing it.

@jacklop21 if you have to many car in the backup folder it wont spawn the cars

In your backup.xml under Los Santos County state patrol:

 

<Vehicle>hway4</Vehicle

 

You forgot a closing bracket.  Looking down a bit, you copy and pasted the hway4 line, because none of them have it. :)

That isn't a thing.  In my previous game I had a large amount of standalone cars that I had in the backup XML and it never gave me a problem with having too many.

Yeah, I redid my backup last night and everything is working, I knew it was a small thing I missed, thanks!

I am having this problem to.  I have over 40 custom vehicles, my LSPDFR backup.xml is very long because I have listed multiple cars multiple times in each category to increase probability over another.

 

Is the file size an issue?

More than likely you may of forgot part of a tag,  my advice is to look at what you most recently edited in the backup.xml.  I'm not sure if there is a size limit for the backup.xml
