So I have two issues, one being the fact that I have no "Police" in my patchday3ng, and two, when I replace my police 2, 3, and 4, they do not replace. They are still the default

GTA police cars. Sheriff and FBI vehicles work fine though. Any solutions?

Do you install them in patchday3?  You must use the latest patchday. I think it’s like 20 now or something. Try to install them in the patchday with the highest number and report back. GL. 

Exactly what he said make sure your editing inside the mod folder and use the highest patchday you can i use 15 for everything and never once have i had a car not load

is the game updating itself everytime you switch cars and then go to play

ive done that and yes I was. still not replacing. when I go into patchday15 there is no police slots at the start, is that normal?

because your not in the right location you need to locate vehicle.rpf in patchday 15 if there is no police car slots dont worrie about it just drop them in with the other cars and they will overwrite the vanilla vehicles

Okay.

1) I download a car pack I like

2) I do all the steps and go into Patchday15.

3) I turn on edit mode and drag the car files in.

4) I place the ELS files in the pack_default in my directory.

5) I go on gta and the cars I placed in patchday15 aren't in the game

delete all the police cars from your patchday15 and start adding them one by one naming them there proper names such as "police,police2,police3" then load your game if that dosent work take a screen shot of your patchday15/openIV shit and upload it here

Okay, I had this issue and found out my error. This is a very simple thing you may have missed, like myself, all it is, is try to make sure that your mods folder has the actual update folder in it, not the contents of the update folder. If that does not make sense, make sure when going into your mods folder, you see an update folder, not the other 2.

for me I'm having the same problem I have the mod folder with the update folder installed correctly, and I'm putting the replacement vehicles in the latest patchday folder (24ng) and I also put them in x64e vehicles.rpf but it barely replaced any of the vehicles. I also reinstalled GTA multiple times
