Light mods that work with visualv?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to find a mod that will increase or enhance the reflections off worldly objects. I'm getting conflicting answers as to which of these mods to use, and whether or not they work with VisualV, so figured I'd ask here. So I use VisualV and ELS (on all my cars), so it has to be compatible with those, if possible. Basically I just want the reflection of my emergency lights off the walls, signs, basically anything, to look more realistic, and enhanced. I'm not sure what carcols or coronas are, but I see those words tossed around a lot. I've looked at both "Improved spotlight and LED" as well as "Enhanced Emergency Lighting", but I'm not sure if those are really what I'm looking for.

Your input and suggestions are appreciated and remember I use VisualV and ELS!

I'm also using VisualV

Did you by chance modify the environmental lighting values of your ELS.ini? I tried Emergency Lighting Revolution but it still just feels like the red and blue emergency lights don't stand out quite as much. especially with headlights on.

If you're using Visual V, Download and install NaturalVision Remastered, it makes VisualV and everything look great (including police lights)

How is NaturalVision Remastered performance wise? Does it eat up your frames per second?

pretty much the same as VisualV, it requires VisualV to run. they've just made edits to make it looks great. I see no performance drops when using NaturalVision.

Do you by chance use the ENB or ENB+ReShade extra it comes with?

Do you by chance know how to make the weather change randomly? I hate using a trainer to force a certain weather type and would rather it just happen dynamically. Using a trainer to set it manually kind of kills immersion. Natural Vision enhances the weather so much it's a shame to not be able to see it all :(

In a game with so much realism in terms of city size, pedestrians out and about living their life, cars going from point A to point B, day and night cycle, it's crazy to me that they wouldn't have changing weather over time.

You can only really use a trainer, unless you want the game to change the weather slowly/naturally.

Well I do want the weather to change naturally, that's what I was asking. But I've never seen it change naturally, it's always sunny and dry.

mine tends to change quite regulary when i let GTA do it's thing. although majority of the time i have it set to early morning (about 9am) and extra sunny as it looks beautiful and California like then.

I tend to patrol during the night hours. I feel like it gives me better FPS with all the crap I have on here now. But I also like gang unit and undercover type operations in RL and I feel like criminals and gang bangers are out more at night than during the day.

night/early morning tends to give better FPS. afternoon/evening is when it dips for me.

Which i don't mind because early morning is great (check my gallery, majority of that is during the early morning) Night is too dark although Natural Vision made it brighter

I didn't change anything in the ini.

This is how it looks like for me:

Yeah it's working and looking better for me now. Not sure what the deal was. This mod works and looks great. I added the puddles mod that's included also, looks amazing in the rain!

Sorry for writing in an old thread but I can't find a solution to this. I have the exact same question and was wondering how I can change the weather naturally without a trainer. I usually play 2 or 3 hours GTA5/LSPDFR with NV. Its beautiful no doubt. I love the starry nights, the sunsets/sunrises, the cloud formations BUT it never rains, no thunderstorm, no windy days. I really miss that from old GTA5 days on Paystation. As you say it's always sunny and dry. How can I make the mod change the weather naturally? Have you find a solution to this?

I have the same Question? I play GTA 5 with NVR but there is no Rain and no Thunderstorm?? Why?

I thought the weather changes automatically? By itself?
What do the values mean here in the timecyclemods.ini:

[TIME CYCLE]
Enable = 1
Weather1 = extra-sunny
Weather2 = Thunderstorm
Weather3 = Neutral
Weather4 = extra-sunny
Weather5 = Foggy
Weather6 = Overcast

I always thought about these settings, the weather changes automatically and without using the trainer every time to set a different weather?
