Increasing police activity?

Featured Replies

Hey.

Is there any plugin which increases the police activity?

By ''police activity'' i mean the AI performing traffic stops and stuff like that. It would be nice to see those things while patrolling the city.

Hi, I use this script. They aren't actually performing traffic stop. But u can set them to patrol certain areas, with or without sirens, and spawn at certain locations. It's really nice and adds more life to the game.

The ai officers aren't easy on the gas pedal though! 😁

Give it a shot.

@Kalleboston Thanks a lot, will definitely try it out. Is it hard to set up the areas? Seems like theres a lot of configuration to do ;d

Yea you can go hardcore on it. But you can also start easy. Maybe a patrol spawning in paleto bay or something.

But that's another thread :)

If you're lazy like me, there's also the "Cops: Back on the Beat" mod. It allows police vehicles to spawn into traffic and spawns police foot patrols. I love it because when I initiate a pursuit, or someone starts popping off shots, you don't even need to call backup. You'll see units get involved from all over the place. You'll see other units pulling out of alleys and other roads heading the same direction you are, to the same scene. You'll see the foot patroling officers run towards the scene with their weapons out. If you're in a pursuit, gradually more vehicles will get involved.

It's also more realistic. When you need backup in real life, you don't just press a button and a unit appears around the corner; then you press it three more times and three more appear around the corner. Units respond from their current location, and they may not anywhere nearby. When you need help, you just have to wait and gradually units will show up on their own and get involved. I have a lot of fun with this.

Since RDE comes with a version of WOV which seems to also cause cops to patrol, is there any benefit to using this mod concurrently with RDE?

Now that I'm not sure of man, I don't use RDE.
