OK.It must not be the graphics card. Must be a car then or ped. Been using the same computer for just about a year with no problem.

Thanks

Check your car mods/ped mods you download. Car, ped, weapon mods, and pretty much every model edit should have all LODs. Car mods have a total of 5, the _hi file, and then 4 LODs in the "police.yft" or w/e it's named. L1, L2, L3, and L4. Avoid car mods without all 4 LODs. Each LOD should have a reduced polygon count. Ped mods shouldn't go over about 15k polygons for L0. L1 and L2 should be significantly lower.

To add to what Lundy said, it's totally possible it's your graphics card or some other component on your PC. Parts do degrade over time.

If you can turn down your settings, and the problems no longer happen, it's a good bet it's your PC.

Not necessarily. It could, yes, but if he could handle the game for a year and this issue is just happening now. Chances are it's some mod(s). Also if a background program is taking up a lot of performance (happens when I stream on Steam most of the time) be aware of that.

How many vehicle, ped, weapon mods are you using? And do you have links to them?
