Hi LSPDFR!

 

I've been spending the last couple of days messing around with different mods and scripts in game. I'm happy now that I have all the mods/scripts I need and I'm ready to install some vehicle modifications which I haven't done yet.

 

I've had a look through a few packs, however some only contain a handful of cars. Can anyone suggest the best car pack/couple of packs which replace most police vehicles and look smart?

There isn't an in general "best" car pack. It ultimately comes down to personal preference.  That said, these are some of my personal favorites.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have a look through them. Are they full packs or would I need to mix and match to make a full pack?

 

In relation to the ones which say ELS, do you need to have ELS installed to be able to use them?

All the ones I linked are full packs.  Yes, you would need ELS.

Sorry for all the questions. Does ELS work with Siren Mastery as I currenty have DPadDown, DPadLeft and DPadRight controlling Siren Mastery.

It will, but you'll have double sirens.  ELS has its own siren functionality. 

 

Dpad left - lights

Dpad down - siren

Dpad up -  dual tones

B (controller) manual tone / change to secondary tones.

Thanks for the help. I've downloaded the Baine County pack. Cars all work and I can active lights/sirens using keyboard but controller not working. Any ideas?

Do you have any "remove controller keybinds" mods in such as free my controller?

Yes to stop the phone popping up/headlights coming on, however I had this whilst using Siren Mastery and it was fine.

Unfortunately, free my controller also removes ELS keybinds.

Huh, i have both FMC and ELS and ELS works fine with controller.

You have to set 
AllowController = true

in ELS.ini

Maybe there was an update that addressed this, but the last time I used FMC, which was a few months back, I asked and was told FMC was not compatible with ELS.

Oh, i just checked and it seems that i have different mod similar to Free My Controller.

Can you please PM me the one you're using? :)  I'd like to give it a try.

I think it's all personal preference, but I mix and match depending on the jurisdiction. CVPI for primary city and sheriff car with LAPD/LASD livery, all black Charger and Tahoe for FBI, then mix and match the others whenever I want a change.

Have to agree with personal preference. I recommend just having a look at different vehicle packs and models from the past months, and even watching a video of someone showcasing that certain vehicle pack to get a better understand of the pack itself.

If not, download and play around with a few.

 

Personally, I change my vehicles every few weeks or so, to keep it interesting. Though I am from Australia, it is nice to patrol with vehicles from states around America.

It's up to you, is what I am saying. What you like.
