I been waiting since Monday for my plugin to be verified. And I checked the last activity times of several staff members (Management and Community), and they been online between the time of my upload and to this moment. Is it a tedious process to verify a plugin?

Why not allow a developer to upload a mod without needing to be verify by a moderator after a certain amount of uploads that developer already has?

Files are flagged for approval due to a few reasons, the main one being that it contains executable code so requires it to be reviewed by a member of the Community Team, however not everyone in the Community Team are developers, thus it is generally handled by members of the team who can review the file and ensure it contains no malicious code. It may take a while as the people who can review these types of files may be unavailable.

I'll give everyone on the team a heads up about your file to see if they have time to take a look at it.

Because a developer could be hacked, or decide to upload malicious content unexpectedly. The approval process is there to protect our users.
