Build Checkup

Recommended Posts

I really need your guys help...
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hB8rbj

I'll say it right here, I'm a noob when talking about PC building so I need deep help and don't scared with the off-place parts, please comment any issue you find with this build. Any!

Requests:
-Suggestion of an adequate MotherBoard... I put the Gigabyte - GA-Z270XP-SLI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard randomly to sim a price
WARNING: Read the compatability issues... Have no clue if the notes are actually correct or not. The storage seems fine to me so I don't get it.

-Compatible PC Case when considering parts' size like the GPU and sockets. (Try to keep it low price; check if the parts are compatible like the PSU)

-
Comment any missing pieces (Already have mouse, pad and headphones... the monitor has built in speakers anyway. No need for optical driver)

I know I'm asking a lot, but I would appreciate any help, no matter how little.

PS:

Post got duplicated for some reason. Would appreciate that a moderator could remove one of the two posts please. Thank you!

the compatability issue is because that particular motherboard has a feature. That when you are using an m.2 mvme ssd it doesnt allow you to use the SATA port as well, the reason they are telling you is because you cant have the ssd with the hard drive. At least not on the 6gb/s SATA port which is where it should be.. Honestly the big question is personal preference. When you are building your PC there is a million different case options, hardware options, color options. There's a million options. No one answer is better than another.

Scanning over your build i see no issues besides that i would pick a different motherboard that allowed more storage options... like i said though its all on preference. If you like the gigabyte color or company find a different one, but theres a ton of options like i said all depends on price.

and as far as cases go, thats a real personal preference. Alot of new things is glass side panels and RGB lights, but if you dont want that then it gives you more freedom on inside components colors. Also IO, do you need 4 USB ports up front of your case for your phone and everything or will 1 do, alot of things differ from person to person.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about the typical 3 USB ports, two 2.0 and one 3.0. Your right. Im kust really worried if I pick a mid tower that will fail to house the GPU perfectly for example.

Yeah the motherboard is absolutely getting changed. After deciding to stick with Intel CPU, I had no other clue on what MoBo I should choose. Ill look around to see a better fit.

Thanks for solving the storage problem. I read other explanations but I still didnt get the issue. You seemed to kill all my doubts.

Again, many thanks my man!

What's your budget?

Don't get a Z270 board if you aren't getting an unlocked CPU from Intel (the processor names with K at the end of them, like an i7-7700K). Get a B250 or an H270 board instead.

Max would be 1300 Euros (1550 USD// Around 2000 AUD). Could be strecthed but I still need money for KB and Monitor.

Oh I didnt know that. Noted. Thank you!
