Hi,

 

I am trying to solve an issue where all peds (Criminals and Cops) cannot aim guns. They go to aim then lower the gun, the go to aim it again and repeat. Eventually  they get so close to the target they just melee with the gun. What and how can I solve this issue.

This is a um...interesting problem. Is it all peds that do this or only a couple?

Do you have any option enabled in your trainer such as peds ignore player or anything else?

No, I don't think so. Sometimes the cops can shoot but other times not. The criminals can hardly shoot at all

When did this start?  Did you add or change anything to your game around this time?

It started when I reinstalled everything (Like the game and LSPDFR + Plugins) because I couldn't boot up the game at all

If you load into GTA V via Steam or the GTA5.exe, can they shoot?

I do have a mod which make people not swear at me. I'd rather not be abused

I've never heard of that mod.

 

How did it go in game?  Were they still able to shoot, or no?

No, but (In both rage and non) they were able to shoot when previously shot and sitting down, but when they get back up they cannot shoot

Please list all your plugins and other mods you have, including ones in the main GTA V directory.  If it's easier, you can just take screenshots.

I wasn't aware Family Friendly Roaming was in the main directory.  Please temporarily remove it and load into the game to see if that fixes it.

It does work now, but I had it working before the reinstall. Could you have a look at the INI file please

The only thing in the INI that might be an issue is block_melee_with_animation, which is set to one, and can_be_targetted=1.    I'm not entirely sure the set up for this INI, as this is the first I've seen this mod.  Your best bet is to contact the mod author and keep it uninstalled until you get his response.
