I got a little bit of a Problem.

When i use modded Police Cars and try to switch to the Camera View wear you see the Hood of the Car i mostly ending up beeing "inside" the hood. OR i see a piece of the Front Window. This is very annoying. It happens whit almost all Chargers and Crown Vic's i testet so far. Is there a way to change that?

this dosen't happens on the Normal Unmodded Cars and it also dosen't happens with all the Taurus'es i tried so far

It is because the vehicle coordinates in the files aren't working very much with the modded car. I changed the Victoria and Charger both to DF8 in the vehicles.ide files and got it to work. Follow Icon's tutorial (also gives music).

so i need to go to the vehicles.ide and copy the line from the DF8 and paste them to the police1,police2, ect?

No, in the "Game Name" tab in vehicles.ide, change "police" to "DF8".

Or you could just edit the file that controls the camera offsets.

I'll note that, when creating my tutorial that you're referring to, I did not intend for it to be used for camera offsets.

I would use Sniper's method for camera changes.

Yeah, but it changes the camera view too. WTH, just take Sniper's way...

Sniper's way doesn't work for me. Still same problem

Did you make sure you edited the correct vehicle?

For instance, if your modded car is in the fbi slot, you won't want to modify the section he quoted above.

I edited the Police like he gave it, And its the police car i am testing with sir.

Not a single thing has changed.

that fixed the problem for me.

I replaced the police lines (the slot where my Vic is) with the FBI lines (and renamed them to police of course) and now i finaly have a clear view xD
