Welcome to Chatford Community Role-play. Below are some frequently asked questions:

FAQ

Who is Chatford Community RP?

CCRP is a Role-play organization that utilizes Grand Theft Auto 4 (For PC), Teamspeak 3, and a Website, that will immerse you in a fun game-play environment.

What?

CCRP allows you to join factions, or create your own. Here are some of the groups, or factions that you can join right away:

  • Chatford City Police Department
  • CCPD Forensic Service Unit
  • Comcast Services
  • Reeltec Logistics
  • And many more...

When?

CCRP meets in the noon, and evening times (EST) just enter Teamspeak, and there will more than likely be a GTAIV Game in progress.

Where?

CCRP utilizes the entire map of Grand Theft Auto IV, allowing you to freely roam throughout the boroughs of Liberty (Chatford) City.

How?

At CCRP you can choose your role, or switch your role at any-time. There are no tests to enter, or complicated rules to follow, just learn the basics and have fun.

If you are interested in joining follow this link, then fill out the quick and simple form to begin.

I do ask that this topic be used for questions only, please no sarcastic commenting or stupidness. Thanks.

How big is the community?

What is your definition of big?

For me it does not depend on size, its about quality.

Right now we have 4-8 quality players, who are mature and use common sense.

Not looking for rapid expansion. We are looking for quality players who are interested in participation and quality fun.

Send me a friend request. I know just about everything you need to know to be a State Trooper because I'm currently in my second year of criminal justice and have taken many ride-alongs with The Ohio State Highway Patrol. I'm going to the academy in Columbus, Ohio in the near future. My tag is SoiledPrune6 lol, that was a random generated name pick!

Is a Windows Live account necessary to play? I am new to roleplay. If it is required, are there any costs associated with it? Also, is it possible to do a ride along before participating to get acclimated to the group's expectations and practices? Thanks for your time,

Doug

Yes, Games for windows live is required, any name you want is fine.... No costs to you. If you want... but ride-alongs in a game, are quite boring.

We have created a different way to show people how we operate, without having to complete training, or any complicated tests.

Come in teamspeak, and we can explain it to you further.

Thanks

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm thinking about applying but I'm a bit afraid of it being a problem that I live in Sweden. With the time difference and all. I'm sure I'll find some time to play with you guys no problem, it's just that I don't know how much.

And my english isn't perfect, it's not bad by any means but swedes do have a bit of a lame accent when it comes to speaking english :P Surely won't be a problem, pretty sure there have been a lot worse than me :P

I'll send in an application and see where it leads to :)
