Hello everyone,

 

After a few days playing LSPDR (i never even played GTA 5 before), I've seen a lot of videos, watching how people are playing, what plugins they do use,  I still have a few questions :

 

I've seen a lot of players on youtube videos using a tow truck service and a coroner service, all of this allowing to clean a scene.  But I don't understand how they do this. Are those services included in a specific plugin (like traffic policer or Arrest Manager for example ?) or are they independent plugins ?

I noticed some players are calling those services via Smart Radio plugin. Are they included with this plugin, or is Smart Radio just a kind of way to call them ?

 

Well, the main question remains : how to get these services ?

Navigating through my plugins files, I've found stuff about tow trucks in Arrest Manager, yep :)

But the problem is I can't activate it. Documentation says default key for Scene management (where I assume I'll find the tow truck for example) menu is H, but nothing happens when I press this key.

Maybe this menu appears only when it's contextually appropriate ?

 

I will try try again to install Smart Radio, because on my first try, i had major bugs and uninstalled it.

You may want to re-read the documentation then, you're supposed to hold Ctrl while pressing H :)

Correct, I didn't understand it at first :)

 

Anyway, I tried to reinstall Smart Radio, configured it properly and all is working fine now : coroners, tow trucks, plate checks, it's all ok :)

How did you configure it to work properly talion i'm still having issues. I still cannot seem to get  coroners, tow trucks to work for some reason.

Did you check what Smart Radio needs to work properly ?

 

I just copied the files. Then on first start, Smart Radio asks a first row of questions about the functionalities to add. Then it restarts again and you'll have a second row of questions, this time about coroner and tow truck. Then the plugin restarts once again, go on duty and you're done.

Quick note concerning Arrest Manager's option to call for a tow truck:  Myself and a few others have had issues with LSPDFR randomly crashing when the tow truck arrives to get the car.  If you ever start crashing from this, just use Police SmartRadio for tow trucks.

Yep, now I'm only using Smart Radio, and after trying and playing with a lot of plugins, I must admit that Smart Radio is a VERY useful plugin and really enhances the game experience with LSPDFR. However, i keep using Arrest Manager for the other functionalities it offers.

Despite that annoying bug with AM's tow service, it still is a very vital plugin for LSPDFR.   I always strongly recommend it.
