LSPDFR better on Steam download or hard copy???**

When obtaining GTA V, is there a better performance route for running LSPDFR between a hard copy or Steam download? Or does it not matter?

For Performance it should be the same. Now, I run the Hard Copy cause my internet isn't the greatest, and I have a data cap every month. Also from what  I've seen it's a lot easier to block the Hard Copy from updating when R* decides to ruin our fun.

I agree with BLS, performance wise it doesn't matter but I would personally suggest Steam. It is much easier to fix problems if they arise, and a lot of the solutions on the internet are for people with the Steam edition. And  minor thing that is good is its easier to screenshot, and add friends and stuff like that. One downside is you are forced to update every time even when it is unstable whereas with the retail version you can block updates. You can weigh those yourself to whatever preference you want idk. I personally have the retail version which is fine, and blocking updates has been a huge advantage to me especially as a modeler/modder, and I have Nvidia GeForce to fix the screenshot issue.

Buying the retail copy was the worst mistake I did. You can't block updates like you can on Steam and seems like the servers are down every other day.

I would assume that on a retail copy, if I messed up my files then I would have to reinstall the game from step 1 and re-download the updates. Whereas with steam, I can recalibrate my files and usually fix the issue through there. Please correct me if I am wrong, I'm curious because I don't own the retail copy.
