adblock whitelisting

Recommended Posts

Because privacy is not a commodity, dignity my right, ergo adblocking.   I do whitelist many sites IF and ONLY IF both:

* first party hosted

* non-active content

Third party ad networks are tantamount to #PrivacyRape -- never acceptable.

AdBlock has an Acceptable Ads Program which can get a site whitelisted if their ads meet the criteria. I don't think LSPDFR's ads meet the criteria currently as they do contain lots of scripts and sometimes animated content. This is something LSPDFR could look into if they're interested in increasing user satisfaction and revenue alike.

Thank you for your rant. Bear in mind we currently don't force people to turn off their adblocker.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
