Can anyone ID what siren this is?

Thanks. I researched that, and apparently NYPD did use the PA300. Did they use a custom PA300 only for themselves (like FDNY or CHP with the PA500) or is this just a standard PA300 that was modified in an audio editor?

 

I found what sounds like an older PA300, but it doesnt sound the same.

I believe they used a regular, off-the-shelf version.  I'll have to ask around at a few enthusiast sites to confirm that though.

 

That silver faceplated model is one of the oldest PA300s to my knowledge - it has a much longer wail than its newer counterparts and much lower tones.  It's one of my favorites.  I believe the PA300 I'm looking for was the model following that one. 

 

Maybe I was mistaken about the age of the siren in question; one of the newer PA300 variants sounds similar to it.
