I have made addons in the past by editing their .meta files and changing names, but how to I make a full .meta for cars that did not come with any to edit so that I can make it an addon?

Take the lines from the original slot you were supposed to put it in and use those. You can then edit as necessary.

 

Wait, are we talking about new car models you've made/converted yourself?

no I mean I took someone else's car made for (insert slot) and just edited the files so that it is now an addon
