Road Closure

Featured Replies

Hey Peeps,

I've seen a few vids with roads closed etc for accidents.

They are coned off etc, any ideas how to do this?

I've looked at the Native trainer but can't see the option for it there...

Cheers,

NicX.

Yes, you can spawn traffic cones and constructions signs, but the cars will still attempt to drive through them and end up just hitting a 'brick' wall because when you spawn the traffic cones or construction signs with the trainer, they act as in invisible brick wall that can't be driven through. As for the roads closed such as the construction in downtown Algonquin, those were scripted by the game developers.

You need a trainer. When you go into the object spawning menu in the first column there are a few objects that say barrier as part of the name. The first on is a standard orange and white sawhorse style barrier, and the second one on that list is a blue "Police line Do not cross" sawhorse style barrier. As for the traffic cone I do not know what object that one is.

The cone is "CJ_Cone_Sm", Those who say it creates a invisible wall are wrong, if you go up and enable "Dynamic Objects" they can be smashed, driven through and act like real objects.

Barrier 6 is the police one AFAIK and Barrier 1 is for the construction.
