Hi All,

 

I am dying to get into this game in full swing, however, I am a total newbie.

 

Would anyone be able to provide some links to gaming PCs/Laptops that will be able to effectively and efficiently allow me to enjoy all LSPDFR has to offer without issues?

 

Any feedback/assistance is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

 

Side note: I am assuming I will be able to link and xbox one controller and utilize that controller for the majority of play within the game?  Is this correct?

My clunker from 2013 is running it find and its a beat to hell laptop...pretty much anything made now should work find.

You SHOULD be able to link an Xbone controller to it...ive been using my 360 wireless and wired wprking just fine....just note there are various plugins that have key conflicts that may interfere with operations of the controller, Example....Vocal Dispatch,  Up on the depad, was listen...while i needed up to do menu options

So I figured out how to downgrade to 1.0.1011.1. Would this be a good idea? Or no point and just keep 1032 and use the mods you listed?

downgrading only really lets u use albos mods and ELS its up to you

Your XBOX one controller will need the USB dongle in order for you to use it, You will also need to be using Windows 10 as the XBOX One controller will only work on that OS. 

I got my wireless ps4 controller to work. Im getting there slowly... :)

Hey just wondering i cant find ALPR+ anywhere. Where could i get it?

 

Ok so a new issue came up. I have downloaded a couple of Albo's mods and now the keyboard buttons don't work anymore. For example the shift button for the traffic stop and also how do I open the Smart police radio?

albos stuff wont work on 1032, it s possible you have a key conflict with something or arent close enough

Weird, I restarted the Ragehook and now the buttons seem to work.

 

Ok so everything comes together for the most part. Played a couple sessions and everything worked fine. It was time to add some more mods to make it more fun. For some reason Police Smart Radio does not work anymore. The C button to open the radio is not opening my radio but it is the reverse camera button now.

Could anyone give me some pointers on why my police radio won't open after pressing C? I checked the ini file and the right key is C.

probably a key conflict....i changed mine to J (after changing ELS to /)

I restarted the game and it worked fine...

Another question. I downloaded a police car. With openIV I put the three files in the correct folder and am able to pick the car in game. However the lights aren't working. In the downloaded car folder there is a folder called 'ELS File' and 'Blue Lighting Option'. What do I need to do with these two folders in order to have the lights work?
