How does he put so many real life cars in with no problems?

 

I put in a good amount and whenever they would drive around, they would be invisible until I got close to them.

lods my friend, he probably has his lods distance set to be able to see it from far.

So the basic GTA V cars already have lods corrected?

All those real cars he has in game doesn't have any lods you have to change that in carvariation or something like that

I got a used computer off of ebay with an old i7 cpu and 1050ti 4gb mini zotac new from amazon

 

i play LSPDFR fine, the cars appear fine close up, just not far away

I guess I can test it out and see...

 

I'll just save the standard GTA V cars, and a back up of course

 

Do you think my computer is the problem?

 

OR lods

@SpikeTerm Just don't use those models that give you that issue. That's how you get an unstable game. Using properly optimized car mods, however, I can almost guarantee you will not have issues with.

Can you link me any properly made vehicles that I can use?

 

Also would handling line and meta files be causing this?

 

I just replace the GTA V cars with the ones provided
