This may not be the right section but its about gta iv so i thought to put it here. Anyways I have a friend that is trying to start up a ivmp server (well he has and he has scripted alot into it) but we both found that ELS doesnt work. How would he be able to have els work? Or would he have to script a whole new thing like els (for instance like a red flashing light that pops up in the dask bord or something) I think els could work because in samp elm works (yes i know they are different programs) but I just wanted to see what anyone though about it.

    There are many people who are able to get MP to work with and without mods. Key thing is to make sure both or all parties involved have the same exact mods to the detail.

    Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

    Yes, I know that but when me and my friend tried to use our ELS it didn't work, it doesn't even work for him and he's the host.

    What doesn't work? Does he not see the lights? Do you not see the lights? Does it crash?

    As a test: Get SNT, and spawn a Turismo. Go to "Car Options", "Add/Remove Car Components", and change the extras (hit 5 to toggle a component, 4 or 6 to change which component to toggle). See what happens.

    IV:MP is very buggy as is. Although, I am not sure why your ELS is not working. It worked fine for me back when I used to play IV:MP.

    Also, Make sure that you have ELS enabled cars in game.

    Sorry for late response, but when IVMP is ran, SNT cant be ran, LCPDFR cant, And ELS. No mods work except for the ones me and him have scripted in. And when i mean they dont work I mean when I get in a police car and I press J nothing happens (Its not because of snt interfering with the commands either)

    We had to upgrade because the stable version wont connect with his IP for some reason, so we had to upgrade to the beta.
