FIXED - ELS Lighting bug

Recommended Posts

I used VisualV at first and then I tried MVGA to see if it would correct the bug, but no help. It has happened on literally all my cars I have ever installed. The code 3's when out the vehicle work fine, but the code 2's and code 1's don't work outside of the vehicle. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it or if it's a known bug?

Sometimes when I load a new 4K skin onto one my my vehicles, the map doesn't load correctly. I believe that happens because I have the game maxed out and the performance cant get any higher. When I add in the 4K skin onto my vehicle, the graphics can't seem to handle the 4K texture. Try lowering some of your graphics setting to see if that makes a difference.

(Hope that all makes sense:unsure:)

Yeah it does, will try now.

EDIT: Still getting the issue :( I have already tried a fresh install, but no luck unfortunately. I tried the settings on both medium and low, still no luck. It does work when I first start the game and head on duty, then after a certain time or a certain trigger, it stops.

When I had it on full settings my VRAM was 4GB/8GB, but I know nothing about computers :P

Are you saying that when you had LSPDFR at full settings, that it was running your VRAM up to 4 out of your 8Gb or was it maxed out at 8Gb? Does the issue still occur when you have MVGA or any other graphic enhancing mod installed? When did you first notice the issue?

It was running my VRAM from 4GB to 8GB.

It has occured using VisualV and MVGA (individually).

I first noticed when it came out, but I wasn't sure if it was to do with me or the mod. I realised after watching @Albo1125's stream that it was in fact me.

Does it still happen when you have the graphics mod installed? VRAM running up to 4Gb shouldn't be an issue so I don't think thats the problem. I reckon it's one of your mods conflicting.

When I don't have a graphics mod installed, it always looks like there aren't any lights.

The funny thing is though, when I first run the game, turn on my secondary lights and leave the car, they look fine. After playing around on as a cop, something happens to break it. I have tried recording my game to try and find what triggers it, but it's just my look..

Yeah I know what you mean. I've had a British fleet before just like you and the lights were pretty poor. You might just need to compromise. Rubbish lights with no graphic issues, or great lights with the issue.

I see what you mean. It isn't a problem, just an annoyance. I can live with it, thanks for you help.

Found the problem - On full code 3's, as I got out my engine was left running. But for some reason, with both code 2 & 1 the enging was turning off causing it to big out.

Fixed it by using the Simple Trainer option 'Leave engine running'. Thanks for your help.
