ELS issue, I think

Featured Replies

So I have a pretty cool Los Santos Police pack installed, but there is just a weird glitch to it or whatever it is. Basically like some lights stay solid on while only the vehicle in the "police" slot works fully with siren and everything, it's the 2015 dodge charger by the way. I really do not how to explain this glitch

be sure you placed all the els  xml files for there proper light setup in els folder

I do, they are all placed. I can try to edit them in notepad++? Or I can try to do something like just try to replace them?

Im literally having the same issue right now...... some lights stay permanently but they wont flash at all.... ive been trying to fix this for like 2 days now

I have the same exact police vehicles pack. The read me/ instructions file says to only put the .ytf and the .ytd files in the patchday13ng folder but you need to place ALL the files included into the folder. This means put the other 2 files (The sheriff_hi and the sheriff+hi.ydt file)  into the patchday13 file using OpenIV. Then it should work. Also if you haven't already, place the VCF's into ELS's folder too. Reply if you need help!

I did do exactly that, the only vehicle that still works is the vehicle in the police slot. I redownloaded the pack since I renamed the vehicles for different slots because I don't know maybe that could have been a factor for the problem I guessCapture.PNG.046636f6bf525894299913c848420075.PNGCapture2.PNG.80b502bf25744ab05b1d11b6eec7be4e.PNGCapture3.PNG.a0d0aefcaa747efc4480b58b7e42f19a.PNGCapture4.PNG.de78d769293f3f14bb53ce11ba814fdd.PNG

(Please read steps before performing) You shouldn't have had to rename anything. I would start over. Also, you should be using a mods folder, and not editing directly into the gta 5 update folder. You shouldn't edit directly into the update folder because it interferes with regular gta 5 (when not running rage plugin). To get a mods folder, simply go to your gta 5 root folder, right click in a empty area and select new folder. Then name it to "mods" with no caps. Nextyou need to copy & paste your update and x64 folder into into the mod folder.  IMPORTANT: since you have already edited the update and x64 folders, follow these steps; replace the Update and x64 folders with the ones from your backup which are not edited, then copy those into the newly created mods folder instead as well. Then, re-install the modded cars files into patchday13ng. If you need help, reply! Also i've included a picture.
