I recently downloaded lspdfr on my PC and ragepluginhook the game boots up fast as it should but when I press f4 in game to open the rage menu it doesn't open.

 

any suggestions to what it may be?

latest RAGEHook? the one in the download is old, like 3somthin, the new one is 50. an game ver is 944. also got all the necessary other stuff in Game folder? double chk

I have the latest gta update and ragehook and everything needed is installed and downloaded.

I have all requirements every other mod runs fine I just can't get rage to open in game with f4

When the game is loading, can you tell me if you see the RAGE plugin hook loading screen? It should look like the attached image.

Then you are simply NOT running Rage hook. (If you are running rage hook then this type of loading screen will appear instead of the vanilla loading screen) Can you do me a favor and Screen shot your file folder where you installed the Rage Plugin Hook and lspdfr (this should be your root GTA 5 folder)? Then attach the images to a reply. Also please tell me how you are starting GTA when trying to load Rage Plugin Hook.

When I try to open the rage plugin it says it's already running but the game doesn't start up. I can send a picture later if needed.

All files are unblocked as well. Is the version the problem I installed  the latest rage version and I'm on the latest gta 5 update?

Yes, please send photos. Please send a photo of your root gta 5 folder and the loading screens as they appear with launching (Screen shot with Windowskey+PrintScreen). To load the game you open the RAGEPluginHook application as an administrator and basically the game should load (And when it loads it should say rage in big font like the photo I attached above.) Can you please tell me which (of the 3) files of LSPDFR you downloaded from the site?
