Hi all, Just a suggestion!!!  There are a lot of awesome ELS vehicles that i want to download, but!!!  a lot of the authors assume that all who use this mod are as savvy as they are in installation protocols, some of us are not!  It would be great to have installation paths in the read me. That being said, i would like to thank all the hard working modders who freely share their skills so we can all enjoy the wonderful world of LSPDFR!!!

ANY REPLACEMENT VEHICLE MODEL THAT YOU DOWNLOAD CAN, AND ULTIMATELY SHOULD BE, PLACED IN Mods > update >x64 > dlcpacks > patchday13ng >dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles.rpf

It's that simple.

Thank you sir for your response it is extremely helpful!!! But there are also meta files and car variations files and textures and skins, lol it never ends

Yeah those you just have to rely on the vehicle modelers to provide you with the correct information on how to install those. If I download a vehicle model and there is insufficient information I usually just go fetch another model to use.

If you're replacing cars, then you'll have to find the default paths for the meta files, and installation path stated above. However, for any add-on vehicles, I highly recommend the custom cars DLC on gta5-mods.com. Basically, any add-on cars and all their files are put into one single folder and not scattered all over the place across the game files. Makes add-on projects such as new departments a million times easier.

My humble 2 cents. Good luck!
