Installed cars not showing after RDE install

Featured Replies

LSPDFR community,

Hey everyone, as a disclaimer, YES I have read all the readme's regarding this issue lol. With that being said, I re-installed GTA 5 so I could install RDE on a clean version and it worked just as described in the instructions. However, when I go to install mod police cars, they aren't showing up for some reason. Before RDE, all the cars I installed per the directions worked perfectly so I know it isn't due to the fact I'm using Open IV wrong or something. I was just wondering if there was a quick fix to this or if I'm an idiot and didn't read something somewhere I thought that I did. I tried the search feature on this but all I got was something to the effect of the RDE dlc packs "overwriting" installed content but wasn't able to piece together a solution from that. If anyone has any info I would really appreciate it!

Thanks,

KZ

I've never used RDE, but if I recall, you need to put the modded cars in the RDE DLC.  I believe RDE has its own "vehicles.rpf".

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

@TheOutSpokenGamer Well since RDE replaces all the main vehicles and adds some it is in it's own DLC. The new path you will navigate to install all your car mods is

update\x64\dlcpacks\rde\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\rdevehicles.rpf\

Solved by @TheForecaster and @TheOutSpokenGamer Thanks a lot you two!
