Hello everyone. I have installed GTA V and installed LSPDFR and I have conducted two "shifts" on patrol but I am still trying to figure things out, but I have some issues....perhaps someone here can assist. I have no other mods at this time....no different cars or ELS or siren tones, or anything. 

 

First, I don't have a radio. The default cell phone comes up. 

• I can't call for back-up
• I can't call for medics, tow, or coroner

 

The "E" key brought up both the police computer search bar, but also activated the lights. "J" key turned off & on the siren....is there only one siren tone or how do I cycle through them?

 

How do I join in on a call?? It says press "y". Is that my keyboard or my controller (Logitech Gampad F310)? I press the "Y" on my keypad and I end up bailing out of the car (not smart at 60mph) and the "Y" key doesn't seem to work...

1) Press "B", this will bring up the backup menu to call.

 

2) Corner and tow truck are with Police Radio -

 

3) You can call for paramedics via backup menu, or download BetterEMS.

 

4) When driving, hold "E" to cycle them, but you have to hold it.  I advise Siren Mastery or ELS for the full siren control

 

5) To join/accept a call, press "Y" on keyboard.  Y on controller doesn't work for accepting calls.  Also, "X" on keyboard will force c all.  LSPDFR comes default with two callouts.  If you want more, browse this site for other callouts.  There's quite a lot of them.

For your first point of not having a radio, download and install "Police Radio." This will enable you to call coroner, tow, and do a few misc things. For backup, hit the B key while on duty. For medics, BetterEMS is the best way to get GOOD ems. 

Next point, E bringing up police computer and lights. I use ELS, being ELS is more realistic and is overall amazing. If you dont want E to bring up the computer and do the lights, change the keybinding in the controls. To physically cycle through them you need ELS or Siren Mastery, both of which are different, and you will have to see the difference for yourself.

Third point, getting a call. Press X to force a call, and Y to accept it. Get different Callouts Packs (Like Assorted Callouts by Albo1125) to get more than the default 2 or 3 callouts.

Blaine County includes Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, etc. So that yellow blob towards the middle of the map - Draw a line from the bottom of there going horizontally, and everything above that line is blaine county, more or less.

So before I purchased the game and downloaded LCPDFR and Rage, I've been watching First Thirty Minutes videos on his You Tube channel....I finally figured out what mods he uses (he posts them in a Google Doc on his videos)....I'm not sure how to go about installing all of these though....This is what he has at the moment (see below). 

 

Also -- very dumb question.....I managed to join a pursuit with a car that was driving on the beach and well....I drove my patrol car into the ocean and had to swim to shore.....feel free to laugh....I did....How do I fish my car out of the water??? Also is there a "teleport" feature to bring me back to the nearest police station? Sorry for all of the newbie questions.

It would take hours to install all of those at once - In my opinion, installing plugins are the easiest, they are usually always just drag and drop. I always have and always will recommend Jeff Favignano's video on getting LSPDFR and mods set up. Yes, it might be an hour long, but to get things working efficiently, its a very good tutorial to follow!

To fish your car out of the water, well.... you can't. Go into a trainer that you need to get if you dont already have one and spawn it. And, if you hit F4 and type "gotopd" it will take you to the Mission Row PD, i believe.

Also, if you don't have a trainer, get one!  Most trainers have the ability to teleport to waypoint.

 

As per installing them, 99% of mods come with a readme.  Please make sure you read these.  It gives install instructions.  In the future, once you do this enough, you'll do it by memory and never read a readme again unless it's a brand new mod.

ELS is very simple.  Just a drag and drop.  ELS.asi, ELS INI, AdvancedHookV.dll and the ELS folder all go in the main GTA V directory.

 

As per installing the car, in OpenIV - Go to mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks-->latest patchday-->dlc-->x64-->levels-->gta 5-->vehicles-->patchdayvehicles.rpf.

 

Click "edit mode" in OpenIV, drag and drop the vehicle files in.

 

Since it is an ELS car, it will also have a VCF - XML document.  Move that to the Sample_VCF folder within the ELS folder in your main directory.

Looks good.  By default, ELS uses CTRL P to open the console in game.  Go into your ELS INI, find "TogInfoPanl =", change to 85.  Now CTRL U opens it.

Ahh, you do not have the patchdays copied over.  You don't have to go this for all the patchdays, but it is advised,  Go into update, the vanilla files:

 

 

From there, go x64-->dlcpacks-->latest patchday-->dlc.  Right click "copy to mods folder.".  Now you should have that directory in the mods folder.

No, you need to go into the individual patchdays and right click on DLC-->copy to mods folder.

 

For ELS, when in an ELS car, if you click "J", do you hear any beeping?

Ok...I managed to get the ford interceptor utility to install and I just ran with it.....however, when I activate the lights, only the rear brake lights turn on in a (left, right, left, right) flash mode. No other lights...so I don't think ELS is working right.

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again.
