It definitely is, which is why I usually start at the very beginning (the anti virus).  Sometimes it is the simplest things, and other times it's a bit more than that.

I FIGURED IT OUT hahah turns out I also had to put the lspdfr installer under my AVs exception list. Which is weird because I've never had this problem before but oh well. Thanks again for your help!

I've never had issues with my anti virus, it's so strange how it is an issue for some.

I also went into the command line and added -scOfflineOnly then went into the game and selected load into single player. Im only adding this in case someone else encounters this problem and google's the problem

Cleaned up some hijacking. In the future, please create your own topic if you are having issues with your game. It can be hard to support multiple people in one topic as everyone has a different situation. "Crash on startup" is the most generic problem that can be caused by a very large number of different issues. To narrow down your issue, it is best to have your own topic.

What command line did you go into ? Maybe that's what my issue is

The command line in your root GTA V directory. It's in alphabetical order so you should be able to find it fairly easily. It should be the only command line in your directory

the commandline file is empty, So I've added -scOfflineOnly  to it but it still crashes. I'm about to give up on it

 

I know it has nothing to do with a virus scanner due to the fact I don't have one installed, it's crashing right when it trying to hook it

Do you have windows defender active? That could be your issue too. Check that out before giving up.

It is not active, I turn that off before I even attempt to try it out 4 days ago. I just went back and reinstalled LSPDFR and Rage Hook and re-unblock everything and made sure everything is up to date and still crashes at point its processing the hook.  I checked the rage hook settings and everything is unchecked I tried giving rage hook admin rights and nothing I just don't know what else to do

You're asking for help in someone else's support topic. This is against the rules. Responses to support topics should only be directly for helping the original poster.

I Just read the Guidelines it does not state I could ask for help in a  opened thread , but ok I'm gonna keep the peace ill open a new thread

If you are using Avast add GTA V as an exception. Go to General, look for Exceptions and proceed to add the entire GTA V directory. The latest Avast update seems to have caused this.
