Greetings.

Ok i have a fresh install of GTA4 with steam, started to back up the files so it doesnt go wrong again.

I want the LCPDFR mod with all those car shinanigans like sirens, light systems and some nice cars. Also i want decent graphics not those light blobs i see in the original GTAIV.

What mods do i need to install?

What version of GTA do i need to install? 1.0.7.0?

Are there any people that play online? what is needed for that?

Any help / tips given are really apreciated.

answer to 1) You can google up some custom sirens or download em from the download center here, same with cars. You can youtube up a video on installing cars and sirens and such

#2) Just cars, ELS v5 or v6, a new siren file, not hard to do ^_^

#3) Steam updates the game automatically and updates its version to send to users so you should already have 1070

#4) yes.,..plenty of people do, just don't use Xlive.dll

The things you're looking for aren't related to the LCPDFR mod, so I've moved this thread to the GTA IV > discussion section.

Using ELS has a few set-backs, your car will be invincible when the lights are on, the game also becomes unstable with the high-poly car mods.

You can find some of the best police car mods in our downloads section.

Look about on those two sites, as I said, there's more sites out there with mods out there, those are a good start though, you can always find more if you search around for it.

you need to have openiv or sparkiv as well . its important to have this . there is many mods out there for gta 4 or EFLC . you can go to the website to look for mods you wanted . you can also install ENB which will made its graphic better . there is many website for it

the car? thats an ELS truck fyi you'll need els ^_^

not that car... i just want my lights looking like that... Also, problem persist. if i activate emergency lights on the default cars the top bar keeps disapearing / appearing and the lights still look like blobs...

Do i need specificaly made car models for it to look cool?

Do you activate the ELS when you have the default cars?

you need cars that list they are ELS enabled

LCPDFR only gives you the ability to become a cop, it doesn't contain any cars. You can download them from here(lcpdfr.com), GTAPoliceMods, and various other sites.

As for the other new person, you will need to download and import modded cars that are ELS enabled in order to get the flashy strobe lights. The stock cars aren't ELS enabled, that's why their light bars disappear.
