To start, I apologize if my question has been asked a million times before..

 

I am new to LSPDFR and have been spending days trying to get it to work.

 

I have installed all the required stuff, but its still not working.

 

Currently what happens is, I will start ragehook, it will be going great, it will start social club, and shut it back quickly as it should... then it starts having issues, fails to open it.. retries, then opens social club and stops there.. Then social club prompts me to sign in, if I dont, nothing happens and it ends there, if i do, I end up loading gta v without LSPDFR.

 

I tried both. When i sign into social club and load normally, and exit again, I can see that ragehook has failed.

 

I hope i am able to fix this, and pray that its only a small issue that can be fixed with your guys' help!!

Go into your RPH game settings and make sure LSPDFR is checked off as a start-up plugin. Also you need to be signed into Social Club in order to play GTA. Besides that I dont know what the cause would be.

hello did you find your problem? are you launching ragehook as administrator? that kinda sounds like the issue to me..but i could be wrong..lemme know

I actually was able to fix this.

 

The only issue I have now is that I cannot get ELS to work, so that will be my next task to handle.

 

Initially my issue was that i had an issue with the actual GTA V download and it needed extra updates. Then after I did that I simply put lspdfr and ragehook back in and it worked great.

 

Currently im having issues with ELS, im sure its just an error on my end, as im really new to this and it feels very daunting.

Ill just have to do a lot more research in regards tro els, or just install non-els vehicles into my game.

Els is extremely easy to install. Run over to youtube and find an els installation video. You will be up and running in no time. If you need my assistance I am always around 😀

So this hasn't been going well.. Im not able to get the vehicles to load in game for some reason. I haven't had issues in the past, and ive been following instructions on how to install specific lspdfr police cars.

 

When i put it in the correct patchday, it successfuly goes in and saves, but doesn't spawn in game, rather keeps the same stock police cars in game, and if i put the vcf files into els, then that specific police car will have non functional lights. Jeeeez this is getting annoying -.- HELP

okay what i am thinking is you probably have other cars installed that are conflicting with those. do me a favor and send me a picture, if possible, of the folders you have in your mod folder (dlc packs)

Okay, update.. i fixed the issue of cars not spawning in the game..  i did not have an initial "update" folder when i created the mods folder, i just copied x64 and update.rpf ...

 

new issue,

 

ELS is still not working. The control panel doesn't open up when clicking ctrl+p and when i toggle the lights/sirens nothing happens, also makes horn not work. Plus, there is a message on the bottom right of the screen in red saying els is locked.. don't know what to do. When i remove the VCF file from els pack_default, most police vehicles sirens will work but the lights will not (sometimes one or more light modules will light up but not flash)

Press the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard, then you'll have full control over your ELS keys (and the red text will go away) :)

Haha no problem! Make sure you read the "Default Controls (ELS-V)" PDF file found in the documentation folder in the ZIP you downloaded to get acquainted with the controls.
