  • Depends on who you ask really. I prefer the vanilla vehicles, or the vanilla-friendly ones that come with RDE.

What are the best none els vehicle mods?

I'm using Captain14's LSPD Pack and his Sheriff and FIB Replacement Pack they have their own ELS Style Lights but you dont need to install ELS to use the Cars .There are already several Texture Skins out for them :)

I don't need a signature

Seconded.  The blue light redo for the packs is really good too, if that's your kinda thing.

Remember: Always use a mods folder!

That makes three of us.  I currently (and still) use ALL of Captain14's vehicles:  LSPD, FIB, and Sheriff packs.

my game doesnt load when i install the oiv file

why?

You may need to update your gameconfig file.  Go here https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gameconfig-xml-fix-for-bikers-update to download and update.

See if that works.

Filepath=>mods\update\update.rpf\common\data.  Replace the gameconfig.xml file already on there with the one in the download.

FYI, always backup what you're replacing so if things go wrong or you're not satisfied with your replacement, you can go back to your "original," put it back where it belongs and find something better.

Did you download some other gameconfig.xml file or the one from the link I have given to you?

Some may work while others don't.  That one works for me - for the most part.

the gameconfig that you sent me did it work for you?

ill try it

Yes.

If it still doesn't help, you may wanna ask around and see why your game is not loading.

ok so that link you sent me for the gameconfig worked, but i got one more problem

With the Taurus and the other els cars in this pack when i turn all the emergency lights on, the ram bar and spotlight glitch and show up then disappear only when i turn the lights on though. How do I fix that?

Do you know what I mean?

You think you can post a picture just to show the exact problem (if you can)?  I've never had that problem of things disappearing when I turn the emergency lights on.
