Computer not getting the FPS it should.

Recommended Posts

Hello every one...

So like it said my computer isnt getting the FPS it sholud. Before I upgraded my graphics card from a 220 to a geforce gtx 560 ti, I got about 20 fps. Since I updated to the Geforce GTX 560 TI I still only get about 20 fps. WTF? Here are my specs. I have the Graphics card set to performance ( I think) Don't know what to do. I know its not my CPU yes I could upload but that's not reason why i am getting 20 fps max on GTA and other games. If I really really really have to update some thing link me to it on newegg.com ( if it is my CPU which I know its not I would need a new motherboard than.)

Don't you know IV is an extremely CPU-intensive game, not a GPU one? Just google it.God there was a whole lot of buzz about it on the internet when IV was first revealed by R*.I'm not saying anything ontopic here, but just questioning your decision what made you think replacing your card would make it run faster?

This is the CPU i'm looking at http://ark.intel.com/products/52210

But now I need a new motherboard I would like to keep this under $300 give or take some. Any one know any good motherboards or if this motherboard is any good.

The motherboard you've chosen requires DDR3 RAM modules (actually, they all do now), you'll need to upgrade as well. The mobo itself looks kinda cheap, but that's what you get for that price, and I guess you wouldn't need anything else, anyway.
