RAGE Crashing on Story mode loading screen

Featured Replies

Hi Martinez,

Do you have any plugins installed? If so, try to launch the game without any plugins preloaded. You can do this by clicking the gear when launching the RAGEhook launcher (before startup), and head to the 'plugins' section. In this section, you can select to load all plugins, load certain plugins or don't load any plugins at all. I would select the last one to see if the problem consist while only loading RAGEhook and not the third party plugins.

I'd like to hear from you if you have any more problems,

I actually do that by default. Sadly I wish that were the case lol. I have tried with plugins loaded and unloaded. Reinstalled the whole game, restarted my computer, steam, the game itself. I have reinstalled RPH more than once, on more than one version (That was available). I have even deleted some of my old plugins that haven't been updated here in awhile and kept the ones that have. So far no fix :/

You're not the only one having that problem.  Now I'M having the problem of Rage crashing on the story screen.  Though I didn't restart my PC, the only thing I did was to even install an older version (I have the version which goes back to 0.47) and nothing seems to work.

Maybe I started it too much?  I say that because it WAS working earlier but now - nothing.

GTAV Crash Report (Retail Version).txt

EDIT:  Just restarting my PC - but to no avail.

UPDATE:  I think something is horribly wrong with GTAV itself because I can't even go through the loading screen if I wanted to play the game without RPH.  Crashes just seconds after I choose "Story Mode."

Added crash report.

I am too having the same problem, It just started after the new RPH update and I've tried to revert to no avail, and my crash report is the exact same as the other two

"I am posting on the Rockstar Support too."

Small world.  I just did the exact same thing a few minutes ago.  I only went to them when I was seeing myself not even getting through the story mode of GTV (without RPH).
