So I just recently added a couple of ELS capable vehicles, and I don't know how to properly change the siren from the police main sirens to the ones I have added for the fbi slot. I see something in the ELS config file about sirens, but they don't match the filenames in the x64/audio/sfx/resident.rpf/vehicles.awc. Help please.

I would also like to know this. At the moment I don't think it's possible due to their audio strings not being located, but I do hope someone can give us some input on it.

@GravelRoadCop When will the other audio strings for all the other sirens be cracked?

Would love to update the primary fire truck siren - anybody have any idea what audio string it is?

You can't for now unfortunately. You can only use the main police siren tones. No info on other audio strings, they need cracking as they are coded somewhere I believe. Hopefully someone can give some info on this as I haven't heard anywhere about it.

Gotcha.  I was able to change the fire truck horn via  VEHICLES_HORNS_FIRETRUCK_WARNING , even though it was a different filename than the one listed, but would love to change the other as well!

 

Seems like the people who have released siren packs should know...

Ah no wonder,  was going nuts trying to figure out why my new ELS fire truck was using the police sirens and trying to find the string to use my custom fire truck sirens. Hope we get the fire truck and ambulance strings soon.

does anyone know whether this is possible because I really need a custom fire truck and it seems possible due to fivem servers using them

The ELS mainframe coding hasn't changed since it was released, so therefore it still recognizes a few siren traits, and until Lt.Caine updates ELS ( assuming that LMS also updates the mainframe with new traits ) it will stay the same.
